An Overview of the Stylish 2013 Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid

August 19th, 2013 by

You may recall that in our last post, we mentioned a bunch of hybrid models in the Honda armory. Yet if you looked closely, you’d notice that one was conspicuously absent. That would be the 2013 Honda CR-Z sport hybrid.

This is the kind of car for sporty auto enthusiasts who like a bit of eco-friendliness with their coupe. For that, the CR-Z delivers on every level. Boasting a sleek, sloping design with blue-accented headlamps and a comfortable interior with an eye for tech, this car represents one of the top tiers of fun-to-drive dynamics.

So how does it do for power? Pretty darn well, as a matter of fact. The gasoline component of the CR-Z is a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine, complemented by a small 23-horsepower electric motor. Together, these two power plants work to produce a car capable of 130 horsepower and 140 lb.-ft of torque, allowing 0-60 acceleration in 7.8 seconds. Pretty nice.

Interior-wise, this coupe has it all. The CR-Z offers a 3-mode drive system (Sport, Normal, and E-CON), Pandora compatibility, SMS Text Messaging, Rearview Mirror with Rearview Camera display and the option of a Satellite-linked navigation system. In short, everything you need to fully enjoy your driving experience.

This experience is one we’re sure you’ll love.
