Honda Tops 2013 Kelley Blue Book Image Awards
The 2013 Kelley Blue Book Image Awards have been announced, and our favorite Japanese automaker, Honda is sitting on top. Tallied during a year’s worth of visits to the Kelley Blue Book website, the awards represent consumer views and opinions of website visitors visiting the site for research purposes and cover luxury, non-luxury, and truck brands.
Honda took three out of six categories for non-luxury brands, including most trusted, best value, and best overall brand. In the site’s report, the company states, “Honda’s win as best overall brand among non-luxury shoppers hardly comes as a surprise. We admire the refined and reliable vehicles, but also the manner in which Honda promotes itself. You do too, apparently.”1
The other three non-luxury categories were divided between three different categories. Among luxury brands, Porsche was the only company with more than one first-place finish, for both best styling and best performance. BMW was chosen as the best overall luxury brand. Toyota won for best overall truck brand.
It’s not surprising that Honda was chosen as the best overall non-luxury brand, especially when you consider how amazing the current new Honda vehicles are.
