What is Head Up Display

Head up Display offered on the 2018 Honda Accord Touring places important information more directly in the drivers line of sight byprojecting it on the windshield. It will always display your speed and traffic sign recognition. A variety of other information can be displayed as well such as adaptive cruise control information, lane keeping assist information, tachometer, turn by turn directions, or a compass display. Phone call information will also show up when receiving a phone call.

How to use Head Up Display

To turn Head Up Display on, press the HUD button to the left of the steering column. Use the up down buttons to the right of HUD button to adjust the hight of the display on the windshield. The brightness can also be adjusted. Just press and hold the HUD button for 2 seconds and then use the up down buttons to the right of the HUD button to adjust the brightness to your liking. When you are finished, the up down buttons will automatically go back to being used for the height adjustment. On the right side of the steering wheel there is another button labeled HUD. Use this button to change what is displayed on the Head Up Display. This is where you can decide if you want to view adaptive cruise control information, lane keeping assist information, tachometer, turn by turn directions, or a compass display.
