I went to Rensselaer Honda because I was nearing the end of my lease and the other Honda Dealer was being very aggressive and pushy. The experience at Rensselaer Honda was very relaxed and laid back. I worked with Bill Tucker and got a great deal on Ridgeline. I spoke with a total of seven dealerships over two days while price-shopping two different vehicles, and felt an immediate sense of relief once I met Bill. Buying my first new car was an experience I was not looking forward to, but it turned out to be perfectly pleasant. I do believe it helped that I had done by homework and had other options on the table, but you should be prepared no matter who you buy from. I would recommend Rensselaer Honda (and Bill!) in a heartbeat.
I had the oil changed in the car and new windshield wipers installed. Also discussed possible options regarding trading in my car with Somer Wright. However, decided to keep my car because it is good on gas mileage as I drive a lot for work and it is very reliable. The service was done very quickly, which was great.

I don't trust dealers but if I had to trust a dealer it would be this one or Mohawk. Bought my Accord here. Don't get me started about the capital district Toyota dealers they are a case of choose your poison. ( At least Toyota makes good cars.)

I brought my 2012 Honda Civic HF to Rensselaer Honda cold. That is, the car had been lovingly serviced at Friendly Honda of Poughkeepsie since it was purchased, but since I moved to the capital district in 2017, that dealership was no longer convenient. I had my vehicle for a recall. I dropped my vehicle off the evening before and stated I needed my vehicle by 1 pm the following day. My vehicle was ready in plenty of time and was able to get where I needed to earlier than planned.

Everything was explained very well. Everyone knew their jobs from the salesman, to the business manger to the IT person. The thing you should change is the time frame to decide on the extra coverage, like VIP and other one (tire and rims and dents). After making a major car purchase, I don't know why the customer needs to be rushed at that moment? I guess if you buy a car on the 2nd of the then you get more time? I drove into the service center after an intermittent problem happened 3x in a row. I described the problem with the first person I encountered, she found a service bulletin about it and my car was able to be serviced right then and there. I was very happy to have my car working perfectly after that.
