 The Santa Claus Club
Rensselaer Honda is the proud sponsor of The Santa Claus Club! In 2012, this club was formed to help bring
happiness to children during the holiday season. Working with Hope Seven Community Center we are able to help about 15 families every year and the goal is to help even more every year!
Our vision is to fill the need of granting children a Christmas that they may not have without your help. The families of these children, infant to 17 years old, are enduring hardships that make the extra expense of the holidays a cause for stress and unhappiness in what should be a season of joy. The children and families are identified through various local agencies that pass on the children's information to us. From there we ask for the children's wish lists and use the donations received to fill their requests. Last year, we delivered five vans full of needed clothing, toys, and food - all because of your generosity!
Food Drive
In 2024 we started doing a food drive with Hope Seven as well, where all the food goes towards families in need through out the Troy, NY area. We had a great turn out this year but hope to go bigger every year. For information on how to donate please contact us at 518-279-1171.
