Rensselaer Honda of Troy, New York, hosts an Annual Memorial Charity Golf Outing to benefit the American Cancer Society. This impactful event was inspired by the loss of our valuable friend and employee, Tom Gorman, to pancreatic cancer on September 12, 2002.
Tom worked here at Rensselaer Honda for 10 years, as a leading Sales Professional. His character was such that he was considered family to all who met him, and his passing left behind a wife and two sons.
This charity golf tournament is held in Tom's honor, with the hope that our donation will benefit all people fighting all types of cancer. All of the proceeds from the Tom Gorman Memorial Golf Outing go directly to the American Cancer Society. So far, our lifetime contribution toward cancer research is over $253,000!
